Job summary

Capgemini in New Jersey is seeking a senior UI Architect to lead the end-to-end modernization of the Portal user experience. You will coordinate across UX Research, UX Design, Business Analysis, Data and Engineering teams to establish patterns, specifications, and AI-assisted tooling standards.

This role demands 10+ years in enterprise architecture, Angular expertise, and a proven ability to drive modernization initiatives across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead UI modernization from Discovery through UAT and production readiness.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define modernization objectives.
• Analyze legacy architecture, user workflows, APIs, and dependencies.
• Define and maintain specification schemas for AI-ready inputs and patterns.
• Create initial implementation specifications from Hero Journeys and modernization objectives.
• Review and approve specification updates throughout delivery.
• Define Angular 21 application architecture, repository structure, and development standards.
• Create foundational scaffolding and reusable patterns for engineering teams.
• Establish environment requirements for Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
• Ensure alignment with specifications, architecture standards, and UX objectives.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction.
