Job summary

LS3P is seeking a Senior Architect with government project experience to join our Charlotte office. The role focuses on civic and public-safety facilities and requires delivering design and documentation across all project phases.

You will apply building codes and accessibility standards, coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, and mentor junior team members while ensuring quality control and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with NAAB-accredited degree.
• 10+ years of design experience post licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and technical development of civic and government projects.
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents across all project phases.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and design teams to deliver high-quality projects.
• Support client interactions, project presentations, and stakeholder meetings.
• Apply building codes, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements to project solutions.
• Participate in construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, site visits, and responses to contractor questions.
• Mentor and share technical knowledge with emerging professionals.
