Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform project delay analyses comparing current status versus baseline (during award);
• Prepare artifacts for contract negotiations;
• Review project status and schedule updates with WMATA field teams;
• Review contractor claims;
• Develop presentations;
• Review schedules; and
• Attend in-person meetings as directed.

Background and Experience Required

• Graduation from an ABET accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in architecture;
• A minimum of eight (8) years of architectural experience with emphasis on transit and rail industries;
• Mastery of building codes, design specifications, and recommended practices in architecture; and
• Registered license in Architecture in the State of Maryland, the Commonwealth of Virginia, or the District of Columbia

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in architecture; and
• Familiarity with WMATA’s design criteria and standards

100% On-Site Position

WMATA New Carrollton Rail Yard located at 4100 Garden City Dr, New Carrollton, MD 20784 (1) on-call for a duration of 3 years

Salary Range

$58.14 to $86.54 HR
