The Enterprise Data Discovery, Protection & Privacy (EDPP) team is seeking a highly experienced Architecture and Technology Evaluation Lead to drive the assessment and adoption of next-generation technology platforms that strengthen the firm’s data protection, privacy, privacy, governance, and discovery capabilities.
This role serves as the technical lead for evaluating innovative solutions from fintech partners and industry providers across Data Discovery, Data Protection, Data Privacy, Data Governance, AI/ML, and Generative AI domains. The individual will be responsible for defining evaluation strategies, establishing success metrics, designing proof‑of‑concept frameworks, and conducting architecture assessments that inform strategic build‑vs‑buy decisions.
As a hands‑on architecture leader, the candidate will work across engineering, security, data management, and cloud teams to establish evaluation environments, navigate enterprise governance processes, and ensure secure onboarding of emerging technologies. Responsibilities include enabling integration through APIs, event‑driven architecture, cloud services, Kafka‑based messaging platforms, and existing enterprise frameworks.
The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in technology strategy, architecture design, AI‑driven innovation, and product evaluation methodologies. Regular interaction with senior leadership is expected to communicate progress, risks, findings, and strategic recommendations. Success in this role requires balancing rapid experimentation with disciplined architecture governance, enabling the organization to make informed technology investment decisions while accelerating innovation.

Pay range
$140,500.00 - $205,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
