Job summary

Esri seeks a Solution Architect to lead the design of mission-critical ArcGIS solutions for Defense and Intelligence, translating requirements into scalable architectures. You will guide secure, enterprise-grade deployments across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, mentoring teams and aligning budgets with strategic GIS initiatives.

You will partner with mission-focused customers, shape architecture strategy, and ensure robust security, performance, and integration with non-Esri platforms

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in GIS platform architecture and solution design.
• Experience designing high-performance computing, cloud, and edge-native architectures.
• Knowledge implementing zero trust, cross domain services, and securing classified networks.
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise platform (desktop, server, and online).
• Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and other RDBMS; Windows/Linux servers.
• Programming with Python, JavaScript, and HTML5.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas to diverse audiences.
• US Citizenship with Active/Current (within 2 years) Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/GIS or related STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ArcGIS platform-based strategies to meet unique customer requirements.
• Define business continuity for on-premise and cloud deployments with security and governance.
• Define best practices for ArcGIS deployments and integration with non-Esri platforms.
• Translate customer requirements into software architecture and design specifications.
• Mentor colleagues and lead all stages of implementation, budgets, and risk management.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to certify GIS workflows on ArcGIS enterprise.
