Job summary

Commonpoint in New York is seeking a Full-Time Aquatics Supervisor to lead Learn-to-Swim and instructional programs across multiple locations, ensuring high quality and exceptional customer service while supporting staff development.

The role includes supervising Saturday classes, coordinating with partners, and maintaining safety and instructional standards, with a regular teaching schedule and opportunities to grow within the aquatics department.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in aquatics preferred.
• Strong administrative and time-management skills.
• Experience with the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim curriculum or equivalent.
• Ability to supervise staff and ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Saturday Swim Class supervision for Central Queens and Bayside.
• Provide weekly operational support at Bayside High School and Queensborough Community College (QCC).
• Ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to Commonpoint standards.
• Lead staff meetings, trainings, and evaluations.
• Teach Learn-to-Swim and related lessons as needed.
• Coordinate program registrations and enrollment management.
