Job summary

G-P, a leading Global Employment Platform, is seeking a Senior Application Security engineer to safeguard web platforms and integrated AI/LLM systems, evaluating technologies, enforcing AI security guidelines, and coordinating remediation with engineering teams.

You will perform threat modeling, triage findings, support vulnerability management, and build automation scripts in Python, JavaScript, or Go. Remote-first culture with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in application security (threat modeling, secure design reviews, code reviews, pen-testing).
• Excellent communication and business acumen.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, etc.
• Web app pentesting experience (CTFs, Bug Bounty).
• AWS security knowledge and experience.
• Experience developing or testing web app technologies.
• Security certifications (OSCP, OSWP, eCPPT, eWPT, Security+) are a bonus.
• Experience with Linux, Docker, Terraform, and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in threat modeling for application and AI-driven architectures.
• Triage SCA/SAST/DAST/CSPM findings and provide vetted vulnerabilities to teams.
• Support vulnerability management for networks and infrastructure.
• Coordinate remediation with engineering teams.
• Perform security assessments, reviews, and internal pentests.
• Support application security programs and security initiatives.
• Develop scripts/tools to automate security tasks (log analysis, patch management, incident detection).
• Build solutions to integrate security tools with existing systems (Python/JavaScript/Go).
