Amazon Science in Sunnyvale is seeking an Applied Scientist to own end-to-end ML projects for Prime Video Search. You will build and guide models from the ground up, collaborate with engineers and product managers, and publish research findings in top conferences.

You will work on fast-paced challenges, experiment with new approaches, and apply deep learning, reinforcement learning, and optimization methods to improve customer experiences for millions of Prime Video users.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree with 6+ years of applied research experience.
• 4+ years building ML models for business applications.
• Experience coding in Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods.

Responsabilités

• Develop AI solutions for Prime Video Search using deep learning, GenAI, RL, and optimization methods.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design, implement and launch AI solutions end-to-end.
• Design and conduct offline and online experiments to evaluate proposed solutions based on data analyses.
• Communicate technical and non-technical ideas with teammates and stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements and modeling techniques in the field.
• Publish research findings in top conferences and journals.
