Job summary

Datadog is seeking an Applied Scientist to design and build ML-powered features for the Datadog platform, focusing on streaming data analysis, anomaly detection, and deployment analytics. You will develop models, deploy to production, and collaborate with Eng and Product teams in a hybrid NYC environment.

You'll work on scalable pipelines, evaluate algorithms, monitor models in production, and contribute to journal clubs and data storytelling. A BS/MS/PhD in CS/ML or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS/Engineering/ML or related field.
• Experience with high-scale systems and data pipelines.
• Ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Care about code simplicity and performance.
• Excited to work on a user-facing product.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions and benchmark relevant algorithms for diverse use cases.
• Leverage ML algorithms to build scalable product features.
