Prolific is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to join its Supply Data Science team, focusing on marketplace dynamics, participant supply, and quality through optimization and recommendation systems.

You will design, validate, and scale production-ready algorithms for study matching and participant experience, leading complex directions and collaborating with product and engineering teams to turn ideas into real impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years applying ML, AI research, optimization, or recommendations to production problems.
• Python to build, test, and iterate prototypes independently.
• Translate loosely defined problems into hypotheses, experiments, and metrics.
• Comfortable solving ambiguous problems and proposing solutions.
