Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• 3+ years building machine learning models for business applications.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Own scientific problems end-to-end from research to production impact.
• Develop production-quality code in PyTorch or JAX for large-scale systems.
• Partner with foundation-model, engineering, and hardware teams to inform Trainium product stack.
• Mentor scientists and interns; provide peer reviews and set team goals.
• Publish research in top venues (ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, MLSys).
