Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a senior ML Scientist to join the SPB Offsite team, developing and deploying AI-driven advertising solutions across diverse environments. You will partner with engineers and product managers to translate customer needs into scalable systems and experiments.

You will mentor junior scientists, advance modeling techniques, and stay current with the latest innovations in AI to optimize advertiser outcomes and learning efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building ML models for business applications.
• PhD or MS with 6+ years applied research experience.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate technical and non-technical ideas with teammates and stakeholders.
• Drive or heavily influence the design of scientifically-complex software solutions or systems, owning components and providing system-wide guidance.
• Define a long-term science vision and roadmap for our Offsite advertising business aimed at customer needs.
• Work closely with engineers and product managers to design, implement and launch AI solutions end-to-end.
• Design and conduct A/B experiments to evaluate proposed solutions based on data analyses.
• Identify opportunities where GenAI can accelerate learning and advertiser outcomes.
• Mentor and guide junior scientists, fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements and modeling techniques in the field.
