Amazon Ads is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist III for the Cross-border Seller Experience (CBSX) to advance science-driven, autonomous ad campaigns across multiple marketplaces. You will mentor teams while delivering practical systems that balance advertiser ROI, shopper experience, and marketplace health.

You’ll work on medium-to-large, ambiguous problems, iterate with experimentation, and ship customer-facing products at scale using Spark/EMR and modern ML techniques.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD, or Master’s degree and 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.

Responsabilités

• Understand Cross Border advertiser pain points as they scale across marketplaces and build science-driven solutions.
• Build agentic and ML systems that autonomously create, structure, and manage ad campaigns.
• Innovate with GenAI-driven advertising and prototype next-gen campaign automation.
• Develop models across the campaign lifecycle: discovery, ranking, ad-readiness, demand prediction, bid/budget optimization.
• Define and curate datasets and signals for training and evaluation of these systems.
• Own core parts of the agentic architecture and define evaluation and safety methodology.
• Stay hands-on: write production-quality code and build core components for large-scale pipelines.
