Job summary

Oracle in Austin, TX is seeking a leading applied researcher to translate business needs into research plans, survey state-of-the-art methods, prepare datasets, run POCs, and design, train, and optimize ML/AI models and solution architectures.

You will write clean code, follow best practices, deploy and monitor models in production, and contribute to patents and technical docs while collaborating with scientists, engineers, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently partners with science, engineering, and product teams to identify business and product needs to create and implement solutions.
• Performs literature reviews and state-of-the-art analyses to understand problems.
• Creates a science plan to address product and/or business problems.
• Contributes to the design of and conducts research on new theories, tools, and methodologies.
