Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Applied Scientist in DTx Science to lead agent evaluation, impact measurement, and experimentation across ad consoles. You will shape applied science roadmaps, mentor junior scientists, and collaborate with business leaders to deliver data-driven improvements for advertisers worldwide.

The role emphasizes leveraging generative AI, RL, causal inference, and NLP to advance advertiser experiences and measurement methodologies within a fast-paced team.

Formación

• 3+ years of building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD or Master’s degree with 6+ years applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and ML.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development of agent evaluation, agent impact measurement, agent experimentation, and agent advertiser experience.
• Lead high-ambiguity projects and drive alignment across teams on science and engineering solutions.
• Drive adoption of state-of-the-art scientific technologies in generative AI, reinforcement learning, causal inference, classical ML, and NLP.
• Translate complex scientific challenges into clear and impactful solutions for business stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Foster collaborations between scientists to move faster, with broader impact.
• Engage with the broader scientific community with presentations, publications, and patents.
