Qualifications

• PhD or doctoral degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, public health, behavioral or natural sciences, or a closely related discipline with at least 2 years as an Applied Research Scientist or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead research informatics and database-management activities, including integrating REDCap outputs with reproducible R workflows to streamline data quality review, reporting, analysis, and visualization.
• Independently analyze Moffitt clinical, epidemiologic, and molecular datasets; interpret results; and translate findings into figures, tables, presentations, and peer-reviewed manuscripts.
• Provide scientific and operational oversight for multiple R01-funded projects, including milestone and performance tracking, progress reporting, independent problem-solving and decision-making, and coordination of team members.
