Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks a Vice President – Applied AI/ML in HR Data and Analytics to drive data‑driven workforce solutions from research to production, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and domain experts across the firm.

You will design, develop, and scale AI/ML models, evaluate performance, and push forward NLP, generative AI, and LLM capabilities within a large financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline required.
• 2+ years of experience deploying AI/ML solutions with end-to-end design.
• Strong Python programming with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or scikit-learn.
• Expertise in ML techniques (supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised).
• Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), fine-tuning and prompts.
• Understanding of agentic AI systems and design principles.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to define business needs and design AI/ML solutions.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and experts across the lifecycle from conception to production.
• Perform AI model evaluations and monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct research to advance AI and data science capabilities.
• Collaborate across the firm to advance mission and vision.
