Job summary

VitalEdge Technologies Inc. is building an Applied AI team to deliver production-ready AI solutions for enterprise workflows.

The Senior Applied AI Engineer role balances hands-on coding with strategic business judgment, reporting to the CEO and guiding a small team of Associate Applied AI Engineers. The role emphasizes designing scalable agentic systems, RAG-based integrations, and robust governance with a focus on value realization across ERP migrations, data movement, and customer support

Qualifications

6+ years of experience building and deploying production software, data, automation, or AI solutions.
Strong proficiency in Python and software engineering fundamentals including version control, testing, CI/CD, APIs, and cloud-native development.
Experience building production AI applications using agent development, multi-agent orchestration, RAG, tool integrations, and related patterns.
Ability to translate business priorities into pragmatic technical solutions and drive adoption and measurable value.
Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical delivery within a small team.
Experience with enterprise workflows such as ERP implementation, data migration, or customer support.

Responsibilities

Translate business priorities into production AI solutions with measurable value.
Architect and build agentic systems including multi-agent workflows and tool integrations.
Lead the pod and codify repeatable capabilities, patterns, and playbooks.
Provide technical leadership and coaching to Associate Applied AI Engineers.
