Job summary

Paramount Skydance Corp. seeks a Senior Applied AI Engineer to architect, build, and operationalize AI-driven solutions for enterprise software quality.

You will work with the Global Quality Engineering team to embed AI into the SDLC using Vertex AI, delivering scalable, reliable, and impactful AI solutions. You will lead ML model development, MLOps practices, and collaboration with DevOps, SRE, and Infosec to improve automation, defect detection, and predictive quality insights across QE

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, software engineering, or applied AI.
• Strong expertise in Java, Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and modern LLM tooling.
• Deep hands-on experience with RAG systems, including vector databases and embeddings.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML systems addressing QE workflows.
• Build, optimize, and tune RAG pipelines, including embedding evaluation and retrieval optimization.
• Perform LLM fine-tuning (full-model, LoRA/QLoRA) and determine appropriate approaches.
• Develop LLM tools for test case generation, synthetic data, and quality insights.
• Lead model evaluation frameworks ensuring accuracy and safety over time.
