Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Principal Applications Integration Engineer - Shockwave Medical to join our Santa Clara, CA team. You will design, develop, and maintain integration solutions connecting diverse software apps and systems across the enterprise.

You will lead technical directions, evaluate tools, manage projects, and ensure security, scalability, and quality through APIs, middleware, and modern SaaS DevOps practices. Collaboration with IT, business units, and partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years’ experience with integration technologies (APIs, ESB, ETL, middleware).
• Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Salesforce.com, and other enterprise apps.
• Proficient in Java, C#, Python, Node.js and modern SaaS DevOps/CI/CD.
• Experience with REST/SOAP based API/Web Services integration.
• Experience working with partners and product managers to translate data requirements into technical designs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design integration solutions to connect disparate systems, applications, and data sources.
• Develop and implement APIs, middleware, and other integration technologies.
• Ensure integration solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Provide technical guidance and support for integration projects.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and IT staff to ensure successful integration.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of integration tools and technologies.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate integration projects with stakeholders.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure solutions meet requirements and are defect-free.
• Create and maintain documentation for integration processes and tools.
• Train IT staff and end-users on integration solutions and best practices.
• Monitor and maintain integration solutions for optimal performance.
