Job summary

Nextpower Inc. is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer for Advanced Module Frames to support Nashville and Fremont sites. The role focuses on providing expert guidance on module frame applications, coordinating between Sales, Product Marketing, and Engineering, and driving customer-focused solutions.

Responsibilities include leading investigations, coordinating tests, and building knowledge bases. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in applications engineering, product engineering, mechanical engineering, or technical customer support.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design, materials, structural performance, manufacturing processes, and testing.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed.
• Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of customer technical inquiries and provide engineering guidance.
• Coordinate technical analysis, tests, and clear recommendations for customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations.
• Manage external engineering projects with vendors and labs.
• Maintain organized tracking of inquiries, actions, and commitments.
