Job summary

Omni Design is seeking a Principal Applications Engineer with pre-sales and post-sales experience to delight customers in mixed-signal applications such as 5G, automotive/ADAS, AI, and wireline systems.

The role centers on training, demos, and technical engagements, translating customer challenges into Omni Design IP solutions while collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Engineering across geographic locations. Some travel will be required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7-10 years’ experience in relevant field.
• Some travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in adopting Omni Design IP through training & demos, solving technical issues and leading technical engagements.
• Understand customer analog and mixed-signal design challenges and guide them in refining requirements and integrating Omni Design IP.
• Work with Sales to identify opportunities and develop winning strategies.
• Communicate customer requirements and feedback to marketing and engineering for issue resolution and product improvements.
• Help manage customer priorities and trade-offs.
