Pavion Corp is seeking an Applications Engineer III to join our shared services team in Texas. You will architect, design, and implement enterprise-class security infrastructures, spanning access control, video management, intrusion, and integrations with third-party platforms.

You will lead large deployments, coordinate with customer IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams, mentor AE I and II engineers, and maintain detailed architecture diagrams and deployment plans for governance and audits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with enterprise access control and video management systems, including 3+ years in an Applications Engineer or equivalent role.
• Expert knowledge of SQL, Windows Server clustering, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and networking.
• Demonstrated success leading large enterprise deployments and integrations.
• Advanced manufacturer certifications required (LenelS2 Master, Genetec Advanced, Milestone Expert, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, documentation, and communication skills.
• Primarily office-based, with occasional field visits as required.
• May require travel and occasional extended hours to support critical deployments or escalations.
• May require occasional after-hours support and participation in on-call rotations.

Responsabilités

• Architect and implement enterprise security systems integrating access control, video, intrusion, and related platforms.
• Lead large-scale deployments, including database replication, high-availability clusters, API integrations, and multi-site sync.
• Evaluate designs for feasibility, scalability, redundancy, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Collaborate with customer IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to align with enterprise architecture.
• Optimize configurations, networks, and hardware for reliability and efficiency.
• Develop upgrade, migration, and expansion strategies to minimize downtime.
• Oversee integration of third-party platforms and enterprise IT systems.
• Maintain architectural diagrams, deployment plans, and configuration records.
