Senior Applications Developer (Batch/UNIX/C/SQL)

Your role in our mission

• Analyze customer requirements and product specifications to define technical content strategy.
• Design and develop product-related information, including user guides, troubleshooting guides, web content, and online help systems for diverse audiences.
• Code, build, and test online information and system hardware, providing feedback on usability and interfaces.
• Help define and refine product requirements as a customer advocate.
• Develop standards, style documents, templates, scripts, and graphic libraries to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, testing, support, and manufacturing.
• Apply intermediate subject matter knowledge to solve common issues.
• Work on moderately complex problems, exercise independent judgment, and provide analysis and input on projects.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of application design/development experience with C, UNIX/Linux, and SQL.
• Experience documenting and executing unit test cases.
• Experience supporting system design, development, maintenance, and modification.
• Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare IT systems experience, especially Claims & Interchange, is highly desirable.
