Contract Performance Period: November 12, 2024 - December 31, 2025
Job Location: Washington, DC - Hybrid: Remote/Onsite - A minimum of 4 days per month Onsite support required, unless otherwise directed.
Direct Hire: Hourly- Contractual through 31/12/2025, with potential for extension beyond 2025.
Pay Range: Depending on Experience
Travel Requirements: On-site/Remote at Washington, DC locations (unless directed otherwise), with a minimum of 4 days per month for On-Site support will be required.
Working Remotely: Remote/Onsite during Eastern Standard time - Washington, DC (unless directed otherwise), with a minimum of 4 days per month for On-Site support will be required.
Project Description:
Seeking a Senior Applications Developer for financial management and accounting for multi-year projects to manage purchases and data visualization and charts which demonstrate budget related vs. actuals. The contractor must have the experience to manage budget and future projections for software projects. Period of Performance: Upon hire date after 11/12/2024 to 12/31/2025, with possibility for extension. Performance location: Washington, DC - Hybrid - Remote/Onsite compliance with the Client's remote posture requirements, 4 days onsite per month.
Qualification Requirements:
• Minimum of six years related work experience
• Financial Management & Accounting - Minimum six years of recent experience managing budget and projections for multi-year project; experience in accounting.
• Project Management and Budgeting Experience: Minimum six years of recent experience with project management and/or program management
• Administrative Tasks – Has coordinated all administrative duties related to project budget including resource (staff and contractor) time tracking, resource projections, and project planning
• Purchases - Manages software and hardware purchases for multi-year project
• Data Visualization and Charts – Creates budget related charts to show budget vs. actuals and burn down rates. **US citizenship is required.** Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. ***Agile, DevOps experience is preferred.
Skills Requirements:
• Experience managing budget and future projections for software projects
• Experience managing how budget impacts project scope and timelines
• Experience analyzing financial data to identify root causes of trends and communicate those to project team and leadership
• Accounting experience
• Experience with administrative duties such as time-card collection
• Experience with project management, project coordination, such as release planning and coordinating UAT with clients

Responsibilities:
• The contractor will be responsible to provide financial management and accounting for multi-year projects to manage purchases and data visualization and charts which demonstrate budget related vs. actuals. The contractor must have the experience to manage budget and future projections for software projects.
• Provide project management, project coordination, such as release planning and coordinating UAT with clients
• Provide analyzing financial data to identify root causes of trends and communicate those to project team and leadership
• Must have accounting experience background with the ability to provide support to project team(s).
• Experience with administrative duties such as time-card collection, project management, project coordination.
