You will work with engineering teams to identify risks, implement controls, and strengthen defenses across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role emphasizes embedding security in the SDLC, conducting assessments, researching threats, and building scalable security solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in application security or related roles.
• 5+ years with programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, C/C++, PowerShell, or Shell).
• 3+ years in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 3+ years with Docker and Kubernetes.
• 3+ years with Infrastructure as Code or Security as Code.
• 3+ years in app security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and threat modeling.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support application security standards, policies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security into design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Promote secure coding and remediate findings with teams.
• Contribute to security automation to improve efficiency and scale.
• Research emerging threats and perform threat modeling and assessments.
• Evaluate risks and provide actionable recommendations to engineering teams.
• Design, configure, and support security technologies across cloud/enterprise environments.
• Support vulnerability management and remediation programs.
• Mentor engineers and share security knowledge through trainings.
• Participate in incident response and security investigations.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
