Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) in Chicago, IL seeks a full-time Sr. Application Security Engineer to strengthen Secure SDLC practices, perform security assessments of applications, APIs, and cloud workloads, and drive remediation.

Qualifications

5–7 years of hands-on application security / DevSecOps experience.
Experience with secure SDLC, DevSecOps, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
Ability to read and modify production code in Java and Python to validate findings.

Responsibilities

Define, implement, and improve application security processes across the SDLC.
Perform security assessments of applications, APIs, cloud workloads, repositories, and infrastructure.
Drive remediation from discovery to closure with backlog management and evidence collection.
Build security metrics and dashboards for leadership visibility.
Coach teams to adopt a security-first culture.
