Job summary

ASM Research seeks a Security Analyst to integrate application-security practices across the SDLC for enterprise and mission-critical systems. You will partner with software engineering, architecture, DevOps, operations, and client stakeholders to translate security requirements into actionable design, development, testing, deployment, and remediation activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
5–10 years in application security, secure software engineering, or related cybersecurity discipline.
Experience applying secure SDLC practices and threat modeling.

Responsibilities

Integrate security requirements across planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the SDLC.
Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments for web apps, APIs, and cloud workloads.
Analyze findings from SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning, container scanning, and pen testing to prioritize remediation.
Partner with development, DevOps, architecture, and operations to mitigate risks and communicate findings.
Perform or support secure code reviews and assess auth, config, and secrets weaknesses.
Track vulnerabilities and verify remediation through retesting.
Develop security procedures, standards, and risk communications for informed decisions.
Evaluate application-security tools for integration with CI/CD and source control workflows.
