Applied Information Sciences is seeking a Senior Principal Business Analyst to lead global application migrations from on-prem to Azure and AWS. You will own discovery, requirements, and migration planning while guiding cross‑functional teams through complex enterprise transitions.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in business analysis or IT migrations, strong facilitation and documentation skills, and experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Jama Connect.

• Eight+ years of business analysis, application modernization, or IT migration experience.
• Experience leading application discovery and stakeholder working sessions.
• Strong application architecture literacy, including integrations and dependencies.
• Experience developing detailed project schedules and coordinating delivery teams.
• Experience producing migration plans, runbooks, and acceptance documents.
• Strong facilitation, communication, documentation, and issue resolution skills.

Responsabilidades

• Leads application discovery sessions with owners and SMEs.
• Manages ServiceNow CMDB data accuracy and ownership with the CMDB team.
• Creates requirements, acceptance criteria, test cases, and traceability in Jama Connect.
• Develops detailed migration schedules, dependencies, and cutover plans.
• Produces migration plans, wave packages, runbooks, and readiness materials.
• Coordinates change management activities, RFCs, and CAB approvals.
• Leads migration teams and owns applications through planning to acceptance.

The role leads application discovery with application owners and technical subject matter experts, then leads a migration team as its pod lead and is accountable for its applications from planning through acceptance. The role is remote.Key ResponsibilitiesLeads application discovery and stakeholder working sessions with application owners and technical subject matter experts, including for applications with incomplete documentation.Retrieves, validates, and reconciles application inventory, configuration items, dependencies, and ownership in ServiceNow CMDB, coordinating updates with the CMDB team.·Creates and maintains requirements, acceptance criteria, test cases, and traceability in Jama Connect or comparable platforms.· Develops detailed migration schedules, dependency trackers, and critical paths, and coordinates technical delivery teams through hour-by-hour cutover plans.Produces migration plans, wave packages, execution runbooks, readiness packages, Go/No-Go materials, and acceptance documentation.Coordinates change management activities, including RFCs, CAB approvals, and production release windows.Leads a migration team and is accountable for its assigned applications from planning through acceptance, escalating risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies to program leadership.Facilitates stakeholder decisions and resolves issues under time pressure during migration windows.Required For This OpportunityUS CitizenMinimum eight years of business analysis, application modernization, or complex IT migration program experienceExperience leading application discovery and stakeholder working sessionsStrong application architecture literacy, including integrations, databases, and infrastructure dependenciesExperience developing detailed project schedules, managing dependencies, and coordinating technical delivery teams· Experience producing migration plans, execution runbooks, readiness packages, and acceptance documentationStrong facilitation, communication, documentation, and issue resolution skillsWorks on complex problems without appreciable direction and provides functional leadership to team membersNice to Have SkillsCloud migration experience in Azure or AWSHands-on ServiceNow CMDB experience, including configuration item relationships and dependency analysisExperience using Jama Connect or comparable requirements and test management platformsFamiliarity with change management, CAB approvals, and production release windowsBusiness analysis or project management certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or PMPFederal program delivery experienceFamiliarity with AI technologies and their practical use in IT delivery or cloud environmentsAt AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.The targeted base salary range for this role is $140,000-$211,000 per year.
