Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a senior repair/service facility supervisor with deep knowledge of super precision rolling element bearings used in high-speed rotating equipment. Specific experience in machine tool service or machining/grinding is highly desired.

You will oversee the service facility, mentor technicians, coordinate workloads with the Midwest Service Center, and support sales with technical guidance and cost estimates. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 USD annually.

• Technical knowledge of super precision rolling element bearing engineering.
• Experience in machine tool service or machining/grinding is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all functions of service facility.
• Supervise and mentor Repair Technicians as direct reports.
• Coordinate with Midwest Service Center to balance workload and direct repairs to the facility that can perform the repair most efficiently.
• Support Sales with guidance and technical expertise to answer questions and provide cost and schedule estimates.
• Provide guidance on spindle cause of failure and potential improvements.
• Review and finalize spindle evaluation reports; determine repair costs and quotes.
• Schedule repairs to technicians based on experience and proficiency.
• Review Final Repair Reports to ensure standards and customer satisfaction.
