Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement modern, scalable enterprise applications. You will collaborate with partner IT and business teams to deliver major software projects and provide architectural guidance across frameworks, patterns, and best practices.

The role emphasizes designing scalable, high-performance systems, participating in code reviews, and working closely with management to drive continuous improvements in architectural standards and delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computers or Engineering with 5 years in full-stack development.
Alternatively a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
Experience in interactive web application development and backend services.
Designing software for scalability, reliability, and performance.
Cloud-based distributed software architecture and design (AWS, OpenShift).

Responsibilities

Design & develop modern, scalable, N-tier enterprise applications.
Work directly with partner IT and business teams and drive major deliverables across all aspects of design and software delivery.
Provides guidance to teams on frameworks, patterns, best practices, and approved technologies, tools, and solutions.
Design and develop modern, scalable, and architecturally-sound components and applications.
Promotes better development and architecture practices, patterns, and documentation.
Participates in code reviews to ensure code quality.
Collaborate with other software engineers, domain experts, and end-users to build solutions that address business needs.
Use understanding of future business needs to create a technical strategy.
Work closely with management and provide continuous feedback on overall technical improvements and innovations.
Work closely with PVS team to ensure application performance standards are met and optimize performance metrics.
Evaluate and prioritize business team requests.
Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business alignment with team, leadership chain, and customers.
Contribute to the overall Digital strategy.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computers or Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in any full‑stack development role.
Will accept a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
