Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced software professional to design, develop, and optimize enterprise solutions. You will create and optimize T-SQL scripts, SSIS ETL packages, and a letter generation system using C# that produces documents from SQL Server data.

The role requires 4–6 years in SQL Server and 3+ years in C#/SSIS, with a preference for EDI and healthcare data experience. Remote/hybrid/work-site options are noted; a competitive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field and 4–6 years related experience.
• 4–6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• 3+ years of C# development.
• 3+ years of SSIS development.
• Experience with EDI preferred.
• Experience with Healthcare/Managed Care Data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex enterprise software solutions.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and tables.
• Own, maintain, and enhance the in-house letter application.
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL and document conversion workflows.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch.
• Perform data analysis, testing, and production support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Clearly articulate issues to stakeholders and design solutions.
