Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a seasoned Senior Application Developer to join Aprio's Information Technology team. You will design, develop, and enhance software systems, mentor staff, and lead project Management.

The role requires deep expertise across Java, .NET, SQL Server, and related technologies, with a strong focus on delivering value for a top CPA-advisory firm. You’ll collaborate with users, QA, and clients, manage scope and timelines, and stay current with evolving technologies

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressively complex application development.
• Experience with relational database design.
• Proficient in Eclipse, Java, JavaScript, and HTML; Linux environment.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SharePoint, Crystal Reports, and GeneXus; IBM i CL/RPG.

Responsibilities

• Learn and master all business functions supported by applications; become an IT expert.
• Mentor and coach development staff.
• Lead project management and prioritization discussions; estimate hours and define scope.
• Design, develop, and modify software systems and tools; enhance current functions.
• Lead technical consultations between users and IT staff to resolve problems.
• Manage external client relationships and provide status updates and acceptance.
