Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior Application Developer to join the intel team. You will operate as a Full Stack Software Engineer on the Enduring Targets, Global Technology section's Discovery Analytics Team (Section 7 DAT) with TAO.

The role emphasizes rapid learning, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering analytics pipelines, web visualizations, and automated workflows for DoD mission support.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
• 12 years experience with a bachelor's in a technical field
• 10 years experience with a master's in a technical field
• 14 years experience with no degree
• Experience across UI/UX, middleware/API, back-end, DevOps, TAO/CNO, or data science
• Experience leveraging AI Agents for software development and research (Claude Code, Codex, Pi)
• JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS experience
• Python scripting
• Experience with UI frameworks such as Angular or React
• Familiarity with relational databases (Postgres, SQLite, etc.)
• Familiarity with GitLab (CI/CD)
• Familiarity with Docker

Responsibilities

Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior Application Developer to join our intel team. You will operate as a Full Stack Software Engineer on the Enduring Targets, Global Technology section's Discovery Analytics Team (Section 7 DAT) with TAO. The DATs are tasked to provide custom software solutions for TAO’s operators and analysts including analytic pipelines, webpage visualization and general mission focused knowledge. This is a high-speed, rapidly changing environment that provides new challenges and opportunities for learning and growing on a daily basis. The DATs maintain multiple applications and servers, provide scripting support and provide the documentation and software solutions to a wide variety of users across CNO.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
• Twelve (12) years of experience with a bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Ten (10) years of experience with a master's degree in technical field
• Fourteen (14 years of experience with no degree
• Teams are small and cross-functional, so ideal candidates bring some combination of UI/UX, middleware/API, back-end, DevOps, TAO/CNO, or data science experience.
• Experience leveraging AI Agents to assist with software development and research. (Claude Code, Codex, Pi, etc.)JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS experience.
• Experience writing scripts and services in Python.
• Experience developing with UI frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, etc.).

Responsibilities:

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• Prior CNO experience
• Knowledge of Network Protocols
• Experience with analyzing cyber security-related data sets (network traffic, OS events)
• Independently drive projects and proposals, taking ownership of the entire development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
• Rust Experience.
• Experience developing software with Java.
