Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, build and manage data and inference pipelines, ML classification and applications supporting high impact clinical insights. You will join a team of software and data engineers, collaborating with data scientists to drive innovation in veterinary care.

You will work with Architects, Developers, Data QA, DevOps, and Scrum Masters across remote locations, embracing Agile practices and continuous learning in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with one or more major cloud providers (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency with Databricks.
• Proficiency with programming languages (Python, PySpark, Spark).
• Proficiency with AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, S3).
• Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience building CI/CD systems.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).
• Experience with Jira/Confluence/Slack/MS Teams.
• Familiarity with Snowflake.
• Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) a plus.
• Ability to rapidly learn and adapt.
• Ability to mentor/coach junior team members.

IDEXX is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, build and manage data and inference pipelines and integrations, machine learning classification and applications in support of high impact clinical insights initiatives. You will join a team of talented software and data engineers, collaborating with data scientists, driving innovation in veterinary care. What you need to succeed:

• Proficiency with one or more major cloud providers (AWS preferred)
• Proficiency with Databricks
• Proficiency with Programming Languages (Python, PySpark, Spark)
• Proficiency with AWS Services (API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SQS, S3)
• Proficiency with Github and experience with Github Actions
• Proficiency with Machine Learning model building techniques and model inferenceProficiency with relational databases and SQL
• Experience with building continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) systems
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Slack, MS Teams
• Familiarity with Snowflake
• Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) a plus
• Ability to rapidly learn and adapt
• Ability to mentor/coach more junior Development and QA Team members
