IDEXX is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, build and manage data and inference pipelines, ML classification and clinical insights apps. You will join a Scrum team of engineers and data scientists, collaborating with data assets and delivering high-impact veterinary care solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with AWS and other major cloud providers (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency with Databricks and data platforms.
• Proficiency with Python, PySpark, Spark.
• Proficiency with AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, S3.
• Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with ML model building and inference.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Experience with Terraform for IaC.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Slack and MS Teams.
• Familiarity with Snowflake; knowledge of DDD is a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly; capable of mentoring teammates.

The IDEXX Clinical Information Services team would like to meet you! IDEXX is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, build and manage data and inference pipelines and integrations, machine learning classification and applications in support of high impact clinical insights initiatives. You will join a team of talented software and data engineers, collaborating with data scientists, driving innovation in veterinary care. In This Role

• You will be a senior member of a highly effective team delivering industry leading capabilities, participating in business planning and technical strategy.
• Innovate in technology, team process and development practices.
• Our team practices Scrum development, so experience and desire to work in Agile teams is a must!
• You will work with a close-knit team of Architects, Developers, Data QA Engineers, DevOps, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters in a variety of remote locations - excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills are important for team success.
• You will have the support to learn new skills, access to a network of professionals, and exchange knowledge with peers through mentorship and coaching opportunities.

What You Need To Succeed

• Proficiency with one or more major cloud providers (AWS preferred)
• Proficiency with Databricks
• Proficiency with Programming Languages (Python, PySpark, Spark)
• Proficiency with AWS Services (API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SQS, S3)
• Proficiency with Github and experience with Github Actions
• Proficiency with Machine Learning model building techniques and model inference
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL
• Experience with building continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) systems
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Slack, MS Teams
• Familiarity with Snowflake
• Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) a plus
• Ability to rapidly learn and adapt
• Ability to mentor/coach more junior Development and QA Team members
