Job summary

Programmers.io seeks a Senior Network Security Engineer with strong experience in application delivery, edge security, and WAF management. You will handle onboarding, migrations, and cross-team collaboration to safeguard services across L1-7 layers.

Required skills include F5, WAF, Cloudflare or Akamai, and expertise in threat protection, API security, and scripting with Python or PowerShell. This role is remote in the USA and full-time/contract-based.

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of experience preferred in network security or application security roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot application delivery, WAF, CDN, and edge security platforms.
• Support application onboarding and migrations.

• Create documentation, runbooks, and provide technical leadership.
