Job summary

Dev Technology Group is seeking a Subject Matter Expert level Lead Application Architect to design the overall structure of enterprise applications. You’ll provide technical and management leadership on major architecture assignments, establishing standards and patterns to prioritize interoperability, reliability, security, and DevSecOps goals.

You will develop secure multi-cloud architectures, align with business and governance, and supervise others as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience providing technical and management leadership on major application architecture assignments.
• Experience designing secure multi-cloud architectures with microservices, IaC, serverless, and containerization.
• Experience briefing governance boards and aligning architecture with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain application architecture standards, patterns, and types with focus on interoperability, reliability, performance, and security.
• Develop and maintain tools, processes, documentation, and templates for Application Architecture.
• Develop and maintain secure multi-cloud architectures using microservices, IaC, serverless, and containerization.
• Model requirements and align with architecture goals through business and solution architecture activities.
• Create and brief governance boards with application architecture artifacts.
• Review and assess current and proposed architectures and provide recommendations.
• Develop and maintain Concepts of Operations based on business requirements by application.
• Define and implement API standards, security, discovery, and governance.
• Implement lifecycle management practices aligned with Zero Trust Architecture and API security.
• Develop architectures consistent with FinOps and automated cost monitoring.
• Participate in Engineering Working Group reviews and governance.
