Job summary

Dev Technology Group is seeking a Lead Application Architect to design and define the overall structure of applications with SME-level leadership. The role emphasizes secure multi-cloud architectures, governance and cost optimization across projects for federal and government-enabled environments.

You will establish standards and patterns, develop architecture artifacts, and brief governance boards while driving secure API management and Zero Trust alignment in a fast-paced, in-person setup in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience providing technical and management leadership on major application architecture assignments (SME level).
• Strong background in API management, security, and governance.
• Experience with multi-cloud architectures, microservices, IaC, and DevSecOps.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and FinOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain application architecture standards and patterns.
• Develop tools, processes, documentation, and templates for managing Architecture.
• Design secure multi-cloud architectures using microservices, IaC, serverless, and containers.
• Model requirements and align with architecture goals.
• Brief governance boards and produce architecture artifacts.
• Review architectures and provide implementation recommendations.
• Develop concepts of operations for each application.
• Develop API standards, discovery, security, and governance.
• Implement lifecycle management aligned with Zero Trust.
• Develop FinOps processes with automated cost monitoring.
• Participate in Engineering Working Group reviews.

Education
