Job summary

Visionaryz Inc. in New York, NY, seeks a Senior Application Architect to design AI-enabled solutions and establish scalable, secure enterprise architecture practices.

The role is hybrid with three days onsite and two remote, located in New York, NY. You will lead enterprise agentic AI architectures, define secure integration patterns, and govern API-led, event-driven, and messaging architectures across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of application or enterprise architecture experience, including cloud-native design on Azure and/or AWS.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI/LLM or agentic solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Experience authoring architecture standards and operating an Architecture COE or architecture review board.
• Strong expertise in enterprise integration, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and maintainable application architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Experience defining architecture governance, reference architectures, and technical standards.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain architectural decisions to technical and executive stakeholders.

• Help establish and operate an Architecture Center of Excellence (COE), including governance, design reviews, and technical playbooks.

• Establish security guardrails for agent identity, access control, auditability, observability, and cost management.
• Align architecture decisions with NIST AI Risk Management Framework, CIS, ISO 27001, and applicable security requirements.

• Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging, and legacy-to-cloud integration.

• Experience modernizing legacy applications and implementing enterprise-wide architecture governance.
