Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to guide the design of our technology landscape from business rationale to system-level implementation. Based in Town of Florida, NY, you will craft architectures that align with strategy and drive cost efficiency while delivering business value.

Job description

• Create architectural solutions articulating business context, conceptual design, and component-level logical design
• Recommend new technologies based on business value drivers and return on investment
• Drive new technologies toward implementation and exploitation
• Establish the overall systems architecture vision
• Ensure specific architecture components are appropriately designed and leveraged
• Contribute to the holistic vision of Enterprise Architecture
• Define architecture standards and anticipate areas requiring new standards
• Direct construction of data, application, and technical architecture components
• Work with business units to translate business strategy into discrete requirements compatible with current technical architectures
• Define systems, technical, and application architectures for new strategic initiatives
• Develop and maintain architectural blueprints and evolutionary roadmaps
• Communicate strategic architectural direction in support of business and technical strategies
• Explain how roadmaps maintain and deliver cost effectiveness, business value, and competitiveness

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines
• Experience in health care industry strongly preferred
• Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s), unless an accommodation is granted as required by law
• Associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week
