Carex is partnering with a BioTech industry partner to identify a Senior SAP Application Analyst with deep expertise in SAP systems, particularly in forecasting and planning (IBP). This role will lead system design, configuration, and continuous improvement efforts while serving as a key technical resource and mentor within the team.

Summary

The Senior SAP Application Analyst is responsible for designing, configuring, and enhancing SAP applications to support complex business processes, with a focus on forecasting and planning. This role serves as a primary point of contact for end users, ensuring system performance, resolving issues, and driving improvements. The position requires strong technical acumen, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to lead initiatives while mentoring junior analysts.

What You'll Do

• Design, configure, and enhance SAP systems, including forecasting (IBP) and related application areas
• Analyze business needs and perform impact assessments for system changes and enhancements
• Build, test, and implement system updates aligned with business requirements and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including cross‑functional system impacts
• Serve as a primary support contact for SAP end users, providing timely issue resolution and communication
• Lead workflow design, system configuration, and testing efforts for enhancements and fixes
• Collaborate with stakeholders and external vendors to align technology solutions with business needs
• Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and process guides
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and business processes through technology
• Act as a subject matter expert for assigned SAP applications and modules
• Support production systems by managing and resolving tickets within issue tracking systems
• Lead estimation efforts for enhancements and support requests
• Delegate tasks and guide team members to ensure timely delivery of work
• Mentor junior analysts and provide technical leadership across the team
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within IT processes and system design

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience configuring or developing technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery role
• Strong experience with SAP systems, including IBP and production planning functionality
• Understanding of SAP architecture, including security and integration components
• Experience with S/4 HANA, SAP Cloud solutions, and Fiori preferred
• Proven ability to analyze complex problems and deliver effective, scalable solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience working in cross‑functional, matrixed environments
• Demonstrated ability to mentor peers and lead technical initiatives
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Adaptability and ability to manage changing priorities and ambiguous situations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business technology tools
