Location: Remote - FL

Department:Analytics Center of Excellence

Work Type:Full Time

Shift:Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 4:30:00 PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$104,769.60 - $136,198.40 / Annual

This is a remote position. Incumbents, who reside in Florida only, may work remotely. There may be occasional situations that require work to be performed on-site at an assigned Lee Health location.

Senior Application Analyst Regulatory

The Senior Application Regulatory Analyst is responsible for providing operational oversight to help ensure IS supported systems adhere to healthcare IT regulations and facilitate workflows for regulatory compliance. Through their technical expertise, they will mentor junior team members, share best practices and provide guidance on Epic regulatory build.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Interprets and communicates proposed regulations to prepare the organization for compliance and advise how these potential new laws may be impactful.
  • Promotes awareness of regulatory requirements and its impact to IS and
  • Build and maintain Epic Quality dashboards and reporting workbench
  • Build and maintain Physician Compensation Scorecard metrics for LPG
  • Provide stakeholders with performance progress and identify opportunities to enhance scores and reduce risks.
  • Leads regulatory initiatives to drive and support large-scale organizational
  • Prepares, reviews, & files audit decision documents and other regulatory
  • Assists with audits and DNV surveys as
  • Collaborate with regulatory related groups below within the organization for alignment on rule commenting and to develop regulatory policies and processes:
    • Government Relations
    • Legal Services
    • Corporate Compliance
    • HIM Operations
    • Accreditation and QA
    • Risk Management
  • Participate in regulatory workgroups, steering committees, Epic Carrot calls, and other forums to initiate processes and procedures to maintain our compliance.
  • Regularly meets with operational and IS leadership to share rule updates, provide project statuses, and identify opportunities to enhance scores and reduce risks.
  • Coordinates the deployment of required regulatory Epic special updates with IS

Key Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or 5+ years of experience in Epic EMR Regulatory analysis and build
  • Active certification in Epic Ambulatory and/or Epic Clinical Documentation Required
  • Experience with Epic quality measure build & troubleshooting, provider and quality dashboard build, scheduling backfills/incrementals, and QRDA file generation
  • Skilled in leading multi-disciplinary regulatory compliance initiatives and projects
  • Familiarity researching on the Federal Register, CMS, ONC and other agency websites
  • Able to clearly convey regulatory and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Advanced verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter that takes initiative to proactively review & interpret newly published rules
  • Skilled at prioritizing tasks and managing time wisely to meet deadlines
  • Thorough and detail oriented documentation and analysis
  • Able to work independently and as a team member

Additional Experience Preferences:

  • Knowledgeable of HEDIS, Value-Based Programs, MIPS, and MACRA
  • Epic Regulatory Reporting Badge(s)
