Job summary

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. seeks a Lead Appian developer to drive design and development of low-code solutions that modernize contract writing and related processes.

You will translate epics into scalable workflows and guide modernization efforts across enterprise Appian applications. Applicants should have 5+ years in Appian and a Senior/Lead certification, cloud experience (AWS/Azure), and be eligible for the required security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Appian Senior or Lead Developer certification and CompTia Sec+.
• 5+ years of hands-on Appian development.
• Deep experience designing, configuring, and delivering Appian applications in enterprise environments.
• Ability to translate epics, features, and user stories into scalable workflows, interfaces, process models, and integrations.
• Knowledge of workflow automation, testing support, release coordination, and production sustainment.
• Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and enforcing Appian best practices.
• Experience supporting cloud environments, with knowledge of common platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical applications.
• Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance based on Government requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Appian solution design and development activities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable low-code solutions.
• Guide modernization of legacy capabilities into Appian.
• Coordinate with architects, testers, and DevSecOps personnel to support successful delivery and sustainment.
