Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Senior Appian Developer in Reston, VA for a hybrid, full-time role supporting an Intelligence Community modernization program. You will design, build, and secure enterprise Appian applications, integrate systems, and mentor junior staff in a government-focused setting.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of Appian experience, strong API/data integration skills, and comfort working in SCIF environments.

Qualifications

Approximately 4-7 years of experience in software development or related field.
Strong hands-on Appian development experience.
Experience with Appian records, process models, interfaces, and expression rules.
Experience integrating via REST APIs, SOAP, JDBC, and SQL.
Agile development experience and ability to work in customer-facing environments.
Willingness to work in secure facilities and SCIF environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain secure enterprise apps on the Appian platform.
Build workflow automation for IC operations including case management and logistics.
Configure Appian Data Fabric connections and enterprise integrations.
Develop Appian plug-ins when needed and mentor junior developers.
Collaborate with leads to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
