Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Senior Database Developer in Merrimack, NH for a full-time, 12-month contract. You will develop Appian-based enterprise applications, design data models, and implement secure RESTful integrations. The role requires strong SQL skills and experience with Appian components in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of professional experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (v17.x or higher).
• Proficiency in SQL and Relational Databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure complex enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
• Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
• Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Understand/apply AI technologies and AI/ML/LLM integration within Appian solutions.
