Vision Point Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Appian Developer to join our growing team in Tysons, VA. This hands-on, client-facing role requires independent delivery of complex Appian solutions and guidance to fellow developers.

You will collaborate directly with clients, translate requirements into technical designs, and mentor less-experienced consultants while contributing to AI-enabled workflow and platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Appian application development experience.
• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Appian Certified Lead Developer preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications using the Appian platform.
• Lead or provide technical direction to Appian development teams.
• Work directly with clients to understand business requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Translate business requirements into application designs and technical specifications.
• Develop Appian solutions using SAIL interfaces, process models, record types, Data Fabric, expression rules, integrations, AI, and related platform capabilities.
• Design scalable and reusable application components and development patterns.
• Conduct design and code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, data, and performance issues across environments.
• Design and implement integrations with databases, APIs, web services, identity providers, and other systems.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimation, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
