Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 6+ years software development with 3+ years Appian platform development.
• Strong SQL expertise with database design/optimization (Oracle/SQL Server).
• Experience designing/API integrations using REST, SOAP, and web services.
• Experience with ETL tools and data migrations.
• Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira.
• Understanding of federal security standards and ATO processes.
• Appian Lead Developer Certification (L4+) preferred.
• 5+ years in government or federal contracting environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect Appian solutions including models, CDTs, portals, interfaces.
• Gather and document functional/technical requirements from DoD stakeholders.
• Develop and implement API integrations to connect Appian with legacy systems and cloud platforms.
• Design ETL processes and migrate data from legacy systems.
• Optimize SQL queries and relational schemas; support data models.
• Implement secure authentication and security controls; support RMF/ATO.
• Perform code reviews and uphold coding standards; mentor junior staff.
