Job Title: Software Developer 3 – Appian (Certified)
Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking an Appian Certified Developer to design, develop, and deploy business applications using a low-code platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building SAIL interfaces, developing process models, integrating external systems through APIs, and collaborating within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

This role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical and communication skills and a solid background in application design and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop applications using Appian SAIL and Process Models
  • Build and maintain integrations with external systems via APIs
  • Optimize application UI performance and responsiveness
  • Write and execute unit and integration tests
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
  • Agile methodology experience (8+ years preferred overall SDLC exposure)
  • Strong design, development, and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered (minimum high school diploma required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands‑on Appian or low‑code platform development experience
  • Experience with Government Acquisition Management Suite (GAMS)
  • Experience working in enterprise or public‑sector environments
  • Contract Duration: ~6 months (with potential extensions)
  • Estimated Hours: Up to 1040 hours
  • Start Date: Early March 2026 (approximate)
