Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Consultant to support a mission-critical DoD customer in the Washington, DC / Northern Virginia area. You will design, develop, and enhance secure Appian applications, integrating with enterprise systems and collaborating with government stakeholders in a restricted environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Appian development experience, strong integration skills, and the ability to translate requirements into scalable solutions while adhering to security

Qualifications

• Hands-on Appian development experience including record types, interfaces, process models, rules and components.
• Experience integrating Appian with external systems via REST APIs, SOAP, JDBC, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills with ability to interact with technical teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Appian applications, workflows, and business processes.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions and designs.
• Build and troubleshoot integrations between Appian and enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP, JDBC, databases, and other technologies.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, delivery teams, and government stakeholders through the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including planning, backlog refinement, testing, deployments.
• Support delivery efforts within secure federal environments while complying with security requirements.
